Douglas S. Daniel

In the forty years since being licensed in 1981, Douglas S. Daniel has dedicated his life to providing aggressive and knowledgeable defense to those who have been charged with some type of criminal offense. During that time he has handled all manner of criminal cases, including DWI and other alcohol related offenses, State and Federal conspiracy and drug cases, as well as crimes of violence, including Murder. With a practice that includes almost every county in South Texas, he knows personally many of the Judges and Prosecutors that are involved in his clients’ cases. He has been repeatedly recognized by his peers and praised by his clients as a lawyer of exceptional talent.

Of special note, Douglas was elected to membership as a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation in recognition of best-in-class criminal defense service and devotion to the highest traditions of the Bar. In addition, he was asked to be a Founding Member of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys (AAPDA). This is a national association of some of the top DWI/DUI lawyers in the country, and it was an honor for him to be asked to be a founding member. Douglas has successfully represented clients charged with alcohol related offenses for over thirty years locally in San Antonio and in counties all across the state of Texas.
